Made with sustainably sourced Redwood and Port Orford Cedar, these 7”x5”x3” burn boxes are handcrafted to create a safe container for the time of umbilical separation. Each box is hand crafted to be unique in its own design— Miter splines on the corners ensure this keepsake will last for years to come!
Instructions: Lay umbilical cord over the box so it rests in the cut grooves. Hold the candles perpendicular to the umbilical cord and find a thin section of the cord to begin to burn. The burn will take around 10 minutes to sever— during this time find some intentional songs to sing, prayers to speak, or hold silent space as the cord releases naturally. If you would like to reuse your box for multiple burns, lay down a sheet of parchment paper to catch the wax for easy clean up. Candles can be kept to burn again come baby’s first birthday.
